Amplis Foto, has announced the appointment of a new publishing team to produce the popular Photo News magazine, distributed free of charge by photo retailers throughout Canada.
Jacques Dumont, of ZAK MEDIA, will take on the publishing assignment, assisted by Norm Rosen, who will edit the magazine. Jacques is no stranger to the photographic industry - as a printer, and a former publisher of Photo Selection and Photo Digest, he brings more than 25 years of experience to the publishing role.
Norm Rosen is a former Editor of Photo Life Magazine, with more than 35 years experience as a photographer, magazine editor, and teacher.
Photo News will provide technique and portfolio features of interest to all levels of photographic enthusiasts, from novice to professional. A team of expert Canadian photographers will contribute articles on a wide range of subjects, answering the question "what would you like to photograph this month?".
